Crimes of Passion

2006, flip books (stop motion collage).

Working around the concept of l’amour fou (mad love), this series consisted of collaged flip books concerned with the possibilities, and sometimes contradictory romantic representations, of crimes of passion. Under the guise of a romantic narrative these relationships are violent and destructive.
