The texture and tangibility of the printed fabric pulls the photographic plane out of its pseudo-realism into a constructed narrative. The relationship between characters pictured becomes one of loosley constructed space and labyrinths of scale. In the creation of the work processes flow between digital and analogue, and back again. The experience of time and space is abstracted. The moment originally captured splits into another where the artist works in the studio, and then splits once more into a timeline in which the viewer finds themselves.
