This series continues Heller-Nicholas’ focus on representations of romantic moments, this time incorporating play with ideas of time and space. In Velvet Romance a frozen moment is expanded and experienced in a cinematic sequence, and through three dimensional space, as the image is broken down, repeated and recaptured.
